Q What is Winstock?
A – Winstock is one of the Upper Midwest’s premier outdoor country music and camping festivals organized entirely by volunteers, with all proceeds from this event used to help fund private education for students from Winsted, MN, and the surrounding communities. More than 1,000 people volunteer more than 5,000 hours to bring you the opportunity to enjoy country music’s finest entertainment, food, camping, and fun.

Q Where is Winstock?
A – Winstock is located at the festival grounds a half mile south of Winsted, MN. Winsted is located about 35 miles west of Minneapolis, MN. GPS address: 3233 230th Street, Winsted, MN 55395

Q When is Winstock? When are future Winstocks?
A – Winstock 2025 will be Friday-Saturday, June 20-21. Winstock 2026 is scheduled for Friday-Saturday, June 19-20. Winstock 2027 is scheduled for Friday-Saturday, June 18-19.

Note future year dates may vary by up to one week due to talent availability and the way the calendar falls.

Q How much is general parking? Where is handicapped parking? Where can I park my motorcycle?
A – Parking will cost $20 per vehicle, per day, or $30 for the weekend per vehicle to park in our general parking lot. Please follow signs to designated areas. Handicapped and motorcycle parking is available near VIP parking.

Q What time do the gates open?
A – Gates to the festival grounds open at 2 p.m. Friday and 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

Q What is the bag policy for the concert area?
A – In an effort to enhance security measures at Winstock, as well as to decrease the time it takes to get into the concert area, Winstock organizers have adopted the following bag policy:

ALLOWED IN CONCERT AREA

• Up to one bag per person not exceeding 12″ x 6″ x 12″ and one small clutch bag/purse/fanny pack (with or without a handle or strap) no larger than 4.5″ x 6.5.”

• Diaper bag, provided it is accompanied with a proper-aged child, and properly inspected at the gates.

• Medical-necessary equipment bags after proper inspection at the gates. The only items allowed in such bags are medical-necessary items.

Please note all bags are subject to inspection at the gates before being allowed into concert area. Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: backpacks, lawn chair bags, coolers, large purses (purses larger than a clutch), luggage of any kind, computer or camera bags, or any bag larger than the permissible size.

Bags found to be in violation of this policy will not be allowed into the concert area and must be returned to campsites, vehicles, or otherwise disposed of. Winstock and its security team will not accept responsibility or liability for any bags or prohibited items not allowed in the concert area.

Q Can I bring a cooler into the concert area?
A – No, coolers and outside food/beverage are not allowed in the concert area (including Thursday night). Personal food and drink is allowed in the campgrounds.

Q What happens if it rains?
A – In the event of inclement weather, the show will be interrupted and resume as soon as weather permits. Tickets are sold on a “rain or shine” basis and no refunds will be given for delays or cancellations due to inclement weather.

Q Can I purchase an extra vehicle pass at the event
A – Yes, extra vehicle passes may be purchased at the campground entrances at a cost of $45.

Q Can I use a credit card to purchase drink/food tickets?
A – Yes, credit cards are accepted at both ticket sales locations and transactions are subject to a 2 percent surcharge. Look for the window indicating credit cards accepted here at each booth. ATMs are also on site for your convenience. All sales are final.

Q Does Winstock offer food for guests with dietary restrictions?
A – Winstock has a variety of food vendors on-site but ultimately provides festival-style offerings. If you have specific dietary needs, we recommend you bring your own to accommodate your need.

Q What are the details of the Thursday night spaghetti dinner?
A – Details on the Winsted Fire Department’s 2025 spaghetti dinner will appear here once finalized. 

Q Can I bring my pet to Winstock?
A – No pets allowed. Service animals are welcome, must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times, and must be registered. If you plan to bring a service animal to Winstock, please e-mail  winstock@winstockfestival.com or call (320) 485-4287 in advance to register.

Q What are the alcoholic beverage options in the concert area?
A – TBA

Q When are meals served in VIP? What are the meals in VIP each night?
A – Meals will be served in the VIP tent from 4-8 p.m. each evening.

Q Is there taxi/ride service to and from any local hotels?
A – Unfortunately nothing formal, though guests may always check Uber and Lyft apps to inquire about availability.

Q How can I meet my favorite artist at Winstock?
A – Some artists provide meet and greet opportunities via their websites/fan clubs. Also, listen to our radio network for any contests stations may be running leading up to Winstock and visit radio station booths on-site for additional opportunities.

Q How can I submit a band/artist request for consideration to play a future Winstock?
A – Please e-mail  winstock@winstockfestival.com with website and social links, music links, EPK, and contact information. Unfortunately, not all submissions may be responded to.

Q Where is First Aid at the festival?
A – First Aid services are offered at the Ridgeview Medical trailer by Gate 2. In the event of an emergency, please dial 911.

Q Can I bring my camera into the concert area?
A – Unfortunately no professional cameras (lens longer than 3 inches) or cameras with detachable lenses are allowed into the music area.

Q What is your COVID policy?
A – Winstock organizers will continue to consult with and follow any guidelines that may be set forth by local, state, and/or national public health officials. As Winstock is outdoors, it is encouraged that anyone concerned about increased risk of exposure spread out and distance themselves from others. Attendees and volunteers are also encouraged to wear a mask if they wish to do so. Disposable masks will be available at no charge at the Winstock Information Tent. Organizers also ask that if you are exhibiting any symptoms of Covid-19, please do not attend Winstock. The health and safety of fans, volunteers, artists and their crews, and the community of Winsted is the committee’s number-one priority.

Q Can I have a milestone (birthday, anniversary etc) announced from the stage or recognized by an artist at Winstock?
A – No. While we certainly thank them for celebrating with us, our production schedule and run of show unfortunately do not allow us to do announcements or recognitions of this nature.

TICKETING

Q How much are tickets?
A – Please refer to our ticket page as pricing is subject to change year to year.

Q Can I buy a single-day pass?
A – Unfortunately we are unable to offer single-day passes to Winstock.

Q I ordered my tickets but haven’t received them in the mail. When will they be coming?
A – Tickets and camping passes begin being mailed in early April for the year’s event, and then continue to be mailed on a weekly basis up until two weeks before the event. Tickets or camping ordered after that time will be available at will call on-site. See specific timing for when tickets will no longer be mailed on our ticketing page.

Q How do I obtain handicapped parking/seating/campsites or request ASL services?

Q Can I buy tickets locally?
A – In late 2024, tickets for Winstock 2025 will be available locally at several Winsted businesses, however are not at this time. Watch here for location and availability updates. 

Q Will Winstock donate tickets to my fundraiser?
A – Please e-mail  winstock@winstockfestival.com

ATTN: Donation request with details of your cause. Please note as Winstock is a fundraising event itself, not all requests can be accommodated/responded to.

Q Does Winstock offer a military/senior discount on tickets?
A – Active military personnel may purchase general admission tickets at earlybird price by calling (320) 485-4287 up to one week prior to the event. We are not able to apply this discount to online orders. No senior discounts are offered.

Q How old does a child have to be before a ticket is required?
A – Any child 6 years of age or older requires a ticket for admission.

Q How can I buy/sell tickets without getting scammed?
A – Tickets purchased online at  shop.winstockfestival.com, locally at Winsted’s retail outlets, or by calling (320) 485-4287 are the only official Winstock ticket sale points. If you purchase resale tickets elsewhere, you risk purchasing counterfeit or invalid tickets.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Winstock does not distribute any tickets digitally/electronically.

CAMPING

Q How many sleeping units can we have in one campsite?
A – Winstock policy states one sleeping unit and one vehicle per campsite. If there is room, one extra vehicle may park at the campsite, provided it has an extra vehicle parking pass.

Q Do I need to have a ticket to the event to be in the campgrounds?
A – Yes. Anyone attending any part of Winstock must have a ticket/wristband. Anyone found in violation of this policy is subject to removal from the grounds and may face a trespassing charge.

Q How old do I have to be to purchase a camping pass?
A – You must be 18 or older to purchase a camping pass at Winstock.

Q When can I come mow my campsite?
A – Weather permitting, you may come Wednesday night the week of Winstock to mow the grass. No overnight camping is permitted on Wednesday night.

Q Are generators allowed in the campgrounds?
A – Yes, generators are allowed in the campgrounds provided you are respectful of your neighbors, and quiet hours are observed.

Q Are showers available at Winstock?
A – Yes, showers are provided at Winstock at the entrance to Campground A Friday and Saturday. Times and cost details are TBD. 

Q Is potable water available on the Winstock grounds?
A – Yes. A potable water spigot is available near the entrance to Campground A that may be used for filling jugs/containers, however it may not be used to pull up to and fill RV water tanks

Q I would like to be a food or merchandise vendor at Winstock. Who do I contact?
